Chief CRNA – Piedmont Cartersville Medical Center

DPI is beginning a search for the next Chief CRNA at Piedmont Cartersville Medical Center in Cartersville, Georgia. This is a rare opportunity for someone ready to grow as a leader, make a meaningful impact, and join a close-knit team that supports one another.

A broad, rewarding clinical environment

The Cartersville anesthesia team includes 12 CRNAs, in addition to the Chief CRNA, and is moving to a four-physician rotation. The team supports approximately 7,000–8,000 cases each year across 8 operating rooms, 2 endoscopy suites, OB and the OB OR, the cath lab, interventional radiology, MRI, and other procedural areas. The case mix includes general surgery, orthopedics, GI, OB, neuro/spine, and more, excluding cardiac surgery.

CRNAs practice across a broad range of services, including labor epidurals, spinal anesthesia, and peripheral nerve blocks. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, with no call requirement.

The role offers the chance to contribute to Piedmont system committees, strengthen relationships across the hospital, and help improve anesthesia operations for patients and providers throughout Bartow County.

This is also an opportunity to work closely with DPI executive leadership and develop skills in executive communication, strategic decision-making, and presence in the boardroom. You’ll have the support of the local staff and the opportunity to build on a stable, fully staffed team.

School assignment depends on home address. Cartersville is about 42 miles from Atlanta and 80 miles from Chattanooga.
